  1. Dear Chairman,
I have heard on the grapevine that there is a proposal to remove the bollards at the end of Rosemary Lane and make a through-road on to the unmade lane.
Firstly I would like to know whether this is correct and secondly what is the reasoning behind it?
There is a lot more to follow:
    1. Is the lane going to be tarmaced?
    2. What safety precautions will there be to protect the children who at the moment play safely along Rosemary Lane?
    3. There is a pathway from the recreation ground to this junction which is used quite frequently and having white van man and some residents ‘zooming’ down towards Archenfield does not seem sensible.
4.If it is to relieve the parking pressures on School-time, there is plenty of parking down Rosemary Lane if the parents would care to walk a little further.
    5. If the Lane is to be tarmaced, at what cost and don’t you think resurfacing from the Cross down the whole of Brampton Road would be far better money spent. Residents of Rosemary Lane have been waiting since 2009 ( so I believe) to have this road resurfaced.

    Yours sincerely
    Ian Rollason
